Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG), a liquefied natural gas (LNG)-producing company, has warned Nigerian to check the expiry dates of gas cylinders before buying them.
In a Facebook post on its verified handle, the gas firm made the warning to help users avoid gas explosion.
It said, “Cylinders expire 15 years after the production date. It is important to check the expiry dates to avoid gas explosions.”
Nigerians have been experiencing gas explosion due to a fault developed by the cylinders, which so far killed an unspecified number of persons across the country.
