PDP Encourages Nigerians to Fend off Calls to Delay General Elections

The Atiku/Okowa Campaign Organization has urged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and Nigerians to keep defying calls to push back the general elections in 2023.

 

 

In a statement released on Sunday in Abuja, the party’s campaign organization offered the guidance.

 

 

A frantic appeal for the elections in 2023 to be postponed, according to Mr. Ologbondiyan, is a part of conspiracies to frighten people, sow political unrest, undermine the electoral system, and impose an autocratic regime on the nation.

 

 

He urged Nigerians and INEC to continue to be vigilant and to fight against the plot to undermine Nigeria’s democracy.

 

 

According to him, Nigerians are prepared for the general elections that INEC has already set for 2023.

 

 

Nigerians, according to Mr. Ologbondiyan, were steadfast in their resolve to set the country free.

He continued by saying that Nigerians were prepared to elect PDP Presidential Candidate Atiku Abubakar as the country’s next leader in order to start the process of rebuilding and putting the country back on the path of unity, peace, stability, and economic development.
