Saddened by the ongoing demolition of buildings by Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, the immediate past governor of the state, Dr. Umar Ganduje, on Friday, dramatically said that he could have slapped Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, if they had met in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The ex-governor stated this while interacting with newsmen about the security situation in Kano State following the demolitions being carried out by Abba Kabir Yusuf’s NNPP administration.

“I know he is in the building but we have not met. Probably if we had met, maybe I could have slapped him”

TCR gathered that Ganduje reported the matter to Tinubu, saying he had since reported the matter  to  the Inspector-General of Police (IGP).

It could be recalled that while delivering his inaugural speech on May 29, Abba Yusuf, governor of Kano, directed security agencies to revoke all public properties sold during Ganduje’s administration.
