Drama in Warri as a Sienna driver (name withheld), bit off the ear of Papu Prosper, a Vehicle Inspection Officer (VIO), during an argument during a patrol in Warri, Delta State.

The entire argument was on expired vehicle particulars in the early hours of Friday.

“I am a Vehicle Inspection Officer, VIO. We went for a patrol in Warri, where we held a driver, whose particulars have expired. I was assigned by my boss to follow him to our office in Warri to check whether his particulars were up to date or not.” Prosper narrated.

“As I was following the man, he said he would kill me. He brought out a dagger to stab me with. I struggled to move out of the vehicle as it was on high speed.
I was fighting him for my survival when  he bit off my ear, it fell on the ground.” He added.

Subsequently, the Sienna driver jumped out of the car and ran away after the incident, leaving his car behind.

While the vehicle is at the custody of the  VIO, Prosper thanked God for saving him as he called on relevant authorities to do justice in the matter.
