Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal has inaugurated a committee for medical outreach with a view to provide relief & support to the citizens in the state
Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Nakwada who stated this during the inauguration held in his office Gusau, said the program will greatly complement the agenda of the administration of Governor Dauda Lawal in addressing the multitude of issues linked to the various sectors of the state economy, including health.
The outreach program according to Nakwada is further evidence of the present administration’s commitment to ensuring broader, accessible, & affordable coverage of the medical members of the committee.
The committee constituted Professor Isma’ila Arzika Mungadi as chairman while Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health serves as secretary.
Other members of the committee include; Dr. Usman Muhammad Shanawa, Dr. Musa Muhammad birnin tsaba, Dr. Amin Nahuche, Mustafa Marafa and Dr. Bello Muhammed.
