Asisat Oshoala, the Super Falcons striker, has broken her silence regarding her controversial goal celebration during Nigeria’s 3-2 victory against co-hosts Australia.
The striker, has after scoring in the 72nd minute of the Group B match at Lang Park Stadium, Australia, celebrated while removing her jersey.
While addressing the situation on Facebook, the Barcelona Femeni forward admitted that even her dad was displeased with her choice of celebration.
She also emphasized that life is made up of moments, expressing her gratitude and humility with the hashtags #Alhamdulilah and #Grateful.
It could be recalled that Asisat started the game on the bench, but later was brought in during the second half at a 1-1 scoreline.
