According to Meta’s founder, Mark Zuckerberg, the company has included a new WhatsApp feature that allows users to screen share during video calls.

Zuckerberg shared the news on his Facebook page on Tuesday, according to AT3 Resources, a consulting firm in charge of Meta in Nigeria.

Users now have the option to share their displays in real time during talks, according to the most recent version.

Users can opt to share their full screen or a specific programme by pressing the ‘Share’ icon.

According to the article, this feature opened up a wide range of possibilities, including working together on work projects, viewing photos with family, organizing trips, buying online with friends, and helping grandparents with technology.

It said that screen sharing brings a dynamic dimension to calls and facilitates users providing a live view of their screen content during conversations.

“This feature is particularly useful for both personal and professional scenarios.

“Also, WhatsApp users can now enjoy video calls in landscape mode on smartphones.

“This enhancement offers a wider and more immersive viewing and sharing experience during video calls,” it said.
