In an exclusive interview with Sergi Roberto, the Barcelona star revealed that he had engaged in a conversation with Neymar, who expressed his enthusiasm about the prospect of returning to the iconic blue and red jersey.
Speaking to Sport, Roberto conveyed Neymar’s eagerness to rejoin the club that he once mesmerised with his dazzling skills.
“I have spoken with Neymar and he would be excited to return at Barça!” Roberto disclosed the news, sparking a wave of excitement among fans and supporters worldwide.
The Brazilian forward, who previously enjoyed a successful spell at Barcelona, seems open to the idea of making a triumphant comeback to Camp Nou.
However, Sergi Roberto was quick to emphasise that while Neymar’s desire to return is palpable, the ultimate decision rests in the hands of the club’s management.
“I’m sure Ney would contribute a lot to us, but in the end, I’m not the one who decides. So those in charge of deciding, if he comes or doesn’t come, will decide what is best for the club,” he stated, echoing the sentiments of many fans who are eager to see Neymar grace the pitch once again.
