President Bola Tinubu has guaranteed the public that there won’t be an upsurge in petrol prices.

In response to concerns raised by Chief Chinedu Ukadike, the National Public Relations Officer of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), regarding potential fuel price hikes due to currency fluctuations and rising fuel landing costs, President Tinubu addressed the issue through his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngeale Tuesday.
He emphasized the need for stakeholders to exercise patience and gather accurate information before making conclusions.

The President affirmed that the NNPC’s recent announcement confirmed that there will be no pump price increase for petroleum motor spirit across the nation.

President Tinubu also further stated commitment to maintaining a competitive balance within the petroleum industry, adhering to the deregulation and liberalization policies in place.
