Barcelona’s director, Deco, revealed a series of significant updates regarding the club’s future.
The most prominent of these announcements is the confirmation of a contract extension for head coach Xavi Hernandez, highlighting the club’s unwavering trust in his leadership.
Deco stated, “Xavi deserves a new contract, and it will be done soon. We really trust him as the head coach for our project.” This endorsement reflects the profound confidence the club has in Xavi’s ability to guide Barcelona towards future success.
Additionally, Deco addressed the transfer market, shedding light on the potential arrival of Vitor Roque. He clarified that Roque’s arrival can only be expected in January or the following year, as it is a crucial aspect of negotiations with Paranaense.
Furthermore, Deco emphasized that Barcelona has not secured any buy options in the loan deals for João Félix and João Cancelo. The club intends to evaluate their performance over the next year, with the possibility of extending their stay if they meet expectations.
Deco also confirmed that the renewals of Alejandro Balde and Lamine Yamal are already in progress, indicating that the club is on the right path to securing these valuable assets for the future.
