Army Rewards Ten Soldiers for Outstanding Contributions

In acknowledgment of their exemplary performance in various military operations against banditry and kidnapping across the nation, the Nigerian Army has honored ten of its personnel.

Comprising five males and five females from six different corps in the South West region, these soldiers were recognized at the Nigerian Army Combat Service Support Corps and Nigerian Army College of Logistics and Management (NACOLM) end-of-the-year 2023 West African Social Activities (WASA) event in Lagos.

Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, the Chief of Army Staff, presented the awards, emphasizing the importance of diligence and dedication in upholding Nigeria’s territorial integrity.

Represented by Major General Mohammed Usman, the General Officer Commanding 81 Division, General Lagbaja urged troops to maintain synergy and translate it into effective service delivery in the field.

The honoured soldiers, namely Ojo Benjamin, Yunisia Dorcas, Attah Patience, Aminu Salihu, Taiwo Rashidat, Ibrahim Ibrahim, Adayami John, Alabi Helen, Ekemode Musa, and Agbe Mary, exemplify the commitment and professionalism of the Nigerian Army in safeguarding the nation’s security.
