A group of devout Muslims in Zaria, Kaduna State, convened a special prayer session to implore Allah’s intervention amidst the prevailing hardships confronting Nigerians.

The solemn gathering took place at the Mallawa Eid praying ground in Zaria, drawing both men and women from diverse quarters of the town.

Chief Imam Muhammadu Sani Labudda, presiding over the prayer, characterized the current hardships as intolerable, emphasizing the urgent need for divine intervention in light of skyrocketing prices of essential commodities, especially with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.

Following the prayers, Suleiman Ibrahim, representing the Islamiyya schools association in Zaria, underscored the importance of strengthening faith and worship during such trying times, urging Muslims to extend aid to the less fortunate and abstain from sin as a form of repentance.

Earlier, Sheikh Muhammadu Dan Tine Habibi and Umar Dikko Mai Shinkafa of Fitiyanul Islam Zaria, emphasized the significance of special prayers in times of societal challenges, urging devout followers to maintain piety and seek forgiveness as a means to invoke divine intervention.
