Manchester City secured a historic fourth consecutive Premier League title by defeating West Ham 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

No team in English football history has achieved this feat, with Manchester City becoming the first to do so under Pep Guardiola’s leadership.

City faced a strong challenge from Arsenal this season but managed to hold on and win their final nine league games, scoring 33 goals in the process.

Phil Foden, recently crowned the Football Writers’ Player of the Year, got City off to a dream start by scoring a blistering drive within the first 80 seconds of the game.

He then doubled City’s lead with a cool left-footed finish from Jeremy Doku’s cross, securing his 27th goal of the season.

City’s win was a testament to their relentless pursuit of victory, with Pep Guardiola acknowledging that they felt the pressure in their previous game against Tottenham.

However, they showed no signs of nerves against West Ham, dominating the game and securing their place in history.

Manchester City’s win cements their status as one of the greatest teams in English football history, with Pep Guardiola’s leadership and vision being key to their success.
