President Bola Tinubu will deliver a nationwide broadcast on Wednesday, June 12, to commemorate Democracy Day.
The broadcast is scheduled for 7 a.m., according to a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.
Television, radio, and other electronic media outlets have been instructed to connect to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) to air the broadcast.
This announcement comes after the Federal Government declared Wednesday, June 12, 2024, a public holiday to mark the occasion.
As the nation celebrates another year of democratic governance, President Tinubu’s address is expected to highlight the progress made and outline his vision for the country’s future.
