The arrest was reported by security analyst and counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, on Monday.

According to Makama, Abubakar’s luggage was searched during a routine security check, revealing a cache of ammunition.

TCR noted that initially, she denied any involvement in the illegal activity, but subsequent interrogation revealed her complicity in the operation.

She confessed to transporting the ammunition from Nassarawa State to Yan Tumaki in Dan Musa Local Government Area of Katsina State, a known hotbed of terrorist activity.

According to Makama, the ammunition was discovered during a routine search of Abubakar’s luggage.

“The authorities discovered the ammunition in her luggage during a routine search,” he stated.
