Alhaji Aliyu Musa, Chairman of the Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Board, was honoured with a prestigious plaque in recognition of the state’s outstanding performance during the recent Hajj operation in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
The award was presented by Dr. Ahmed Sindhi, Chairman of Ithraa Alkhair, accompanied by Mallam Jalal Arabi of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
TCR reported that this distinction acknowledges the excellent services provided by the Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Board to over 3,700 pilgrims from the state who performed the Hajj exercise this year.
The pilgrims expressed gratitude and appreciation for the board’s exceptional handling of their needs during the Hajj exercise, praising the Sokoto State Government for its supportive efforts.
