The Nigerian Government has declared Wednesday, June 28, and Thursday, June 29, respectively as public holidays to enable Muslims observe and celebrate the 2023 Eid-El-Kabir.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior Oluwatoyin Akinlade made this known in a release he released on Monday, saying the FG extends heartfelt felicitations to the Muslims in Nigeria and abroad.
The statement called on Muslims and all Nigerians to make sacrifices for the betterment of their communities and the country as a whole, expressesing hope that the prayers and sacrifices during the period will contribute to the much-needed peace and unity in Nigeria.
