Kebbi State Government has distributed the sum of N200 million to 2,000 beneficiaries across the state under the KB -Cares Livelihood Grant Program.

The State Deputy Governor, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafidan Kabi, while flagging-off the disbursement in Birnin Kebbi said the gesture was part of the good initiatives of Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu’s led administration of empowering youth and women to be self-reliant.

Tafidan Kabi said, considering the effects of idleness among the youths in the present-day society which subjected able-bodied persons to poverty, hunger and living in squalor due to lack of trade, the present administration has come-up with intervention programmes to make people gainfully employed.
