Registration Process
To begin, students should:
1. Visit the program’s website at https://nelf.gov.ng
2. Click on the “Apply Now” button and then select “Get Started”
3. Answer the required questions and confirm their Nigerian citizenship
4. Verify their educational information and JAMB details
5. Create an account using their email address and password
6. Verify their email address by clicking on the link sent to them
Completing Your Profile
After registration, students should:
1. Log in using their email address and password
2. Update their contact details, including phone number and address
3. Update their educational details, including Higher Institution and Matric Number
4. Verify their BVN and bank account information
Loan Application
To apply for a loan, students should:
1. Click on the “Request for Student Loan” button on the home or loans page
2. Select the type of loan required (upkeep or institutional charge)
3. Upload supporting documents, including admission letter and Student ID
4. Read and agree to the Terms & Conditions and GSI Mandate
5. Submit their application and track its status on the “Loans” page
